I love ordering these batteries from Amazon. They are smartly packaged, easy to distribute to various equipment locations. They are packed in groups of 4 in simple cardboard – no plastic! Then they are a great power source on top of it.

  2. AccountingProf says:

Some of the batteries in my package worked fine. Several did not work at all.

  3. B. Nap says:

I love the pro duracell batteries. I am a video producer and I use these batteries in my wireless mics. They last so much longer than the standard batteries and I’ve tried them all. For me, they are definitely worth the money.

  4. Stephen ONeal says:

Not a bad price on 24 batteries. Would buy again if price point stays the same. No tax and Prime shipping makes buying from amazon easier than going to the store and picking them up.

I haven’t used up any of the batteries yet – they seem like ordinary alkaline batteries. What sets these apart is the packaging. The product image shown when I bought it concerned me – it says “4xAAA” but looks way too big for that and the description (and price) said 24 batteries. It turns out the picture is larger than life size – it should be the size of 4 AAA batteries standing side by side. You get 6 paperboard boxes just like the one shown in the picture, all pancaked together in a larger paperboard box measuring 3″ x 2″ x 1.75″. There is no wasted space, no plastic, no cellophane, etc. The packaging wouldn’t be good for keeping in a wet location, but it’s perfect for keeping a stock of batteries in a drawer. You can easily grab a pack of 4 batteries when you need to use them, or grab a few 4-packs to throw in a bag for a trip. The packaging is easy to open and close. I’m not sure if this is in Amazon’s Frustration-Free Packaging program ( [...] ), but it is worthy of that. I wish more products would have such simple, useful packaging.
