Item Description

Keep your nüvi in place with this portable friction mount. It’ll keep everything in plain sight when you need it and out of the way when you don’t.

Place the mount on any stable surface, and adjust the position of your GPS to your liking. The friction mount weighs enough to keep your device put on the dash, even when sudden maneuvers are necessary. It’s ideal for states in which the use of windshield suction mounts is illegal.

In addition to its convenience, you can quickly place your GPS out of sight, and without leaving any residue on the windshield, both handy for any potential prying eyes.

  1. Walter A. Kennedy says:

I just don’t understand why people drive around with the windshield mounts – this is much better.

  2. David A. Fick says:

I live in a hilly and bumpy area and was concerned that this product would slide around, but I found that that there was nothing to fear. Even when I tried to make it slide on the narrowest reverse-bank turns it wouldnt budge.

Also, there’s a somewhat useless slot under my radio where nothing goes (for tape deck?). I found that sticking in one or two “legs” of this thing in worked great, and it held solidly. Nice when I want to keep it out of sight

  3. Sugar Plum says:

This was great! We used it on a recent trip and it was perfect. It can be placed where there is no blocking of the window, angled for the perfect view and it never moves from it’s position, no matter how curvy the roads or how fast you are going! It works!

  4. Howard Ainsworth says:

Works very well but one warning. Do not Armour All your dash in the spot you choose to place it, it will slide off.

  5. John Popp says:

I acquired one after my 5″ Garmin had hit the floor a few times when its windshield suction cup failed. The bean bag is slightly clumsy, but quite stable – I’m pleased with the purchase.
