This would not format an 8 GB SDHC card. Otherwise, I’ve had no problems with it
Works well, Plug and Play. Transfer speed for my Scandisk Ultra and Extreme SDHC cards is 5-8 mbps, depending on card.
Although I usually do not install additional software when item works out of box, in this case I’m highly recommend to install driver from [...] – this driver will turn “disc F, disk H, disk J” in My Computer into “CF card” “SDHC card” icons, so you don’t have to guess which drive corresponds to your card.
Works fine for me. Does feel a little cheap… but what do you expect from plastic electronics from china?
Have not had a problem yet. *mac users* reader does not show on desktop until you place card in reader.

I could not be happier with this product. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and it’s very easy to use. I have had it since 2009, and it works great. This was the best deal online! A++++
I was considering replacing my 5 year old laptop just for one with a built in card reader.
I am glad I didn’t. I love the design of this card reader! I appreciate the simple grey finish on the plastic. I hate the glossy finish on so many electronics these days. It has two non-slip strips on the bottom. Mine came with a 3ft black usb cord unlike the picture that shows a grey/clear cord.
