   I bought this camera about a week ago, and i fell in love with it right from the start! It has so many cool features such as the scn button with options like taking pictures of flowers, landscape, beach, firecrakers, and much more. This camera doubles into a video camra too, you have to import the video to your computer before you can receive sound to your video. This camera is easy to import your pics to your computer, and is compatable with both Mac and PC’s. I am twelve and i absoulutely love the Kodak Easyshare C180! This camera is definately worth the money! I hoped I helped!

   I ignored all the bad review’s and bought this camera. Once i received the package, i went to the mall to take pix. This camera only took 5 pix, and already the battery was dead, and the memory was full. I tried to install the software to my laptop, threw the cameras usb, that did not work eater. People say the picture quality is worth the price, i totally disagree with that. By adding only $10-20 you can get a way better quality with the Samsung sl 202.    hate that i cant just read the SD card with my SD reader. what kind of stupid format cant be read these days…

   First of all, i got this camera for much cheaper than it is listed. so right there, i was already happy. here are the pros and cons of this little camera

   Pros:

   1. easy to use. great for teens, elderly, and those who are not tech savvy

   2. great features. this ties into the ease of use coz everything u need is already programmed. close up shots, far away shots, moving shots….etc

   3. battery. it takes double A batteries, which i love, i hated it when my camera’s built in rechargeable battery dies and there is no way around it but to plug it in.

   4. size. it’s so small and light weight, u can put it in ur pocket. the screen is big compared to its size

   5. quality. the quality of pics and vids is good given the fact that this is s low end camera. there is also zoom, though only a 3 optical zoom

   6. face detection.

   7. in camera memory. though u can only take a few shots with the internal memory but it comes in handy if ur SD card is suddenly full

   cons:

   1. battery life. it sucks battery life like none other. so u have to carry extra double A’s

   2. no viewfinder. only the screen to see where to take ur shots. so in full daylight, u are SOL

   3. no speaker. after taking a vid, u want to play back? yes, u can, but with no sound

   4. zoom. it’s only 3 optical zoom. not quite enough for my liking. we like to race cars on a road course, so i need to zoom in to get the good shots. but good enough for regular picture taking

   i have not used every single feature on this camera, so i am not going into details about them. i also have not use the USB yet, so i dont know if it works great, though i have read bad reviews about that.

   so my pros are more than the cons, so i’d recommend this camera

   I’ve gone through 2 of them and both had serious problems.

   The 1st one lost a color channel and quit taking usable pictures while on a vacation in Europe. Luckily I had a spare camera. Even while it was working many, many times it would NOT TURN ON when I pressed the power button. Other times it would simply stop functioning while taking pictures. Once I got back from that vacation, I replaced it with an identical unit.

   Now the replacement has the same power problems – it freezes in the middle of taking pictures and at times simply does not turn on.

   If this camera would simply function properly, I’d give it a decent rating. It’s features are ok and it’s fairly portable – which is what I wanted from this.

   I’m taking the 2nd one back and demanding a refund this time and would advise all to avoid this one.
