The discription was misleading and I disappionted that it does not include Canada and can not be upgraded to do so.

I was told, in error, it had text-to-speech. It didn’t. Went to Palm Beach and didn’t have a main street (state hwy) in its listings. Street was NOT new 20+ years old. It is easy to use and program – but I see, now, it is an OLD, obsolete model. Very few POIs – which I did know in advance, but don’t use that feature on a GPS. The few times I want to locate something specific I use my BB map feature that quickly pulls up what I want – and is up to the minute in accuracy.

I was simply going to return it for a refund – but they had model 1440 (used – they call it refurbished) for $20 less. It has all modern features. I have never bot used equipment – but am willing to gamble $80. I am assuming if it is defective it will show up in the 90 day return period.

I have had this product for about 15 months. Worked fine but now it only turns on briefly and shuts down. I’ve tried recharging in different cars and computers all with the same result.

    Very dissappointing.

  4. Don Amuzie says:

Product not user friendly, gives misleading direction and waits till the last second to let you know when to make a turn, a potential safety hazard.

  5. Atul Mehta says:

I live in DC metro area and the POI of this device is not the best with my experience so far. If you have the address it is good and works like a charm. The graphics are good and easy to get used to. This is comparably a cheaper GPS and the value is somehow good for the bucks you have spent.
