It was given as a gift, but I do use this product myself…. only brand I buy.
SanDisk are the most dependable SD cards. I never worry about losing any of my photos.
The product is shown as “$7.49 + Free Shipping” but the savings don’t show in the cart. The product may not have the clear plastic case as shown.
Who needs a flash drive? $15 for a card reader and $3 cards is much more price-savvy ^^ This will help with my senior project!
I ordered eight SD cards because the price seemed quite good, then was surprised to find that they had charged $3.99 _PER ITEM_ to ship. Total for merchandise was $36; total for shipping was $32! The package only weighed a pound or so and was shipped via standard USPS.
When I complained to Blue Proton about the excessive shipping cost, they issued a $4 “courtesy refund” that was more of an insult than a courtesy. Other reviewers have mentioned this $4 refund, so it seems that B.P. uses it as a way to mollify upset customers. Don’t be fooled! I contacted Amazon customer service and escalated my complaints to B.P., and I was able to get a FULL refund.
The apparent reason why Blue Proton can sell cards so cheaply (besides the possibility that the cards are counterfeit, as some reviewers allege) is that they are making their money on shipping. I suggest that you do not order anything from B.P. There are plenty of reputable dealers who might charge a little more for the product but they are honest about where they make their money.
